Quiet Time

As I meditate on your reflection

It stirs an attraction

As scripture draws out Your description

My soul gazes with adoration

I respond to your promise with elation

As my mind goes on exploration

Your breath fills me with inspiration

A burst of radiant coloration

Your Spirit switches on illumination

I muse with hmm sweet sensation

In every quandary and contemplation

At your feet I find instruction

With grace you reveal my deflections

Filling with deep contrition

Here I am washed with consolation

Hurts lose their possession

So to have this intimate conversation

I push out every distraction

And the longer the duration

Of our interaction

I receive some awesome revelation

The wealth in my salvation

Till in the mirror’s observation

I am completely your reflection
